Moderator

Kevin is an Associate Director at InvestorHub, where he has played a significant role in pioneering the direct-to-investor model now used by more than 200+ listed companies across Australia and the UK. With a background in capital markets strategy, investor engagement, and corporate advisory, he has been instrumental in scaling InvestorHub from its origins into a category-defining platform. Kevin is also Director of Monument Metals, a copper exploration company advancing pre-discovery assets in Arizona, alongside his own public and private mining investments.

Speakers

Anthony has close to 30 years of private and public corporate experience in numerous high-growth industries, spanning technology, media and telecoms, natural resources and specialty chemicals, and more recently the energy transition sectors, in particular the electric vehicle and lithium battery value chain. His roles have been predominantly in senior management, with a focus on strategy and development, M&A and corporate finance internationally – he has managed businesses and operations across four continents spanning Greater China and Asia region, Australia, North and South America.

Artem is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of ACG Metals Ltd. He has 27+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and senior corporate management roles. He has led private and public transactions worth more than $30 billion and managed leading businesses in the metals and mining industry.

Artem launched ACG Acquisition Company as a SPAC on the London Stock Exchange in 2022 with a strategy to consolidate the critical metals industry. The company completed the first transaction in Türkiye in 2024, acquiring producing Copper / Gold Gediktepe mine and was renamed ACG Metals Ltd. ACG’s near term goal is to build a 200-300 ktpa copper producer via a series of roll-up transactions.

Artem has previously designed and implemented a similar roll-up strategy in aluminium, having led several high-profile transactions that created UC Rusal, which he listed in Hong Kong in 2010 at a pre-money valuation of over $20 billion.

Artem’s former roles include the CEO of Chaarat Gold, CEO of En+ Group, head of strategy and Board director of UC Rusal. He also served as an independent non-executive director at Norilsk Nickel and as Chairman of International Aluminium Institute and started his career as a strategy consultant with Monitor Group in Boston and London.

Damian is a senior mining investment and financing executive with over 25 years of experience in mining mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing. He is a Partner at Oryx Global Partners.

Previously, Damian was an Investment Director at EMR Capital. He was closely involved with EMR’s significant investments, including the Kestrel coking coal mine in Australia and the Martabe gold mine in Indonesia. He is currently an adviser to several Boards and Vice Chairman of the Asia Mining Club.

Prior to joining EMR Capital, Damian co-led Australian mining coverage for Deutsche Bank where he led numerous cross-border M&A and financing transactions for companies including Fortescue, Glencore, Baosteel, EMR Capital, St Barbara, Kidman Resources (acquired by Wesfarmers) and Galaxy Resources (which became Arcadium and was recently acquired by Rio Tinto).

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Damian worked for BNP Paribas in a similar capacity and commenced his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK. Damian has extensive strategic advisory and end-to-end M&A experience. His financing experience includes work across the capital structure and in multiple markets. He has experience with many commodities including coal, iron ore, gold, base metals,
uranium and battery materials.

Damian graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Birmingham, UK and is a Chartered Accountant.

Matt is a high-performing mining executive who has worked across a variety of functional areas including technical (chemical engineering), marketing, commercial, investor relations, project development, and corporate development/M&A. In particular, he has recent and direct experience in the technical and commercial project development of African domiciled mineral assets.

Prior to joining Bannerman, Matt held the role of Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at ASX-listed Tanzanian rare earths developer, Peak Rare Earths (ASX:PEK). Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at leading boutique investment bank, Azure Capital.

Matt’s early career spanned approximately 10 years with global aluminium major, Alcoa (NYSE:AA). There he held various roles including Manager, Global Corporate Development and Business Development and Commercial and Marketing Specialist.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (First Class Honours) from Canterbury University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
